Bergerview fully updated

Monday 2 May 2011
On Monday 23 May 2011, Stichting Incident Management Nederland will be launching an entirely updated version of Bergerview. Bergerview is the application available to IM recovery companies since 1 April 2007, to allow them to trace their IM vehicles and analyse the progress of incidents. Many IM recovery companies make intensive use of Bergerview. Over the past few years, Stichting Incident Management Nederland has received numerous suggestions from the recovery companies for improving the application. In 2010, it was decided to produce a fully updated version of Bergerview. This took place in close consultation with a number of critical users.

The updated version will go online on Monday 23 May next. The web address for Bergerview (bergerview.lcm.nl) will not change. For technical reasons, it is not possible to maintain both the old and the new version, simultaneously. As a result, from 23 May 2011 onwards, all IM recovery companies will only be able to work with the new version.

Stichting Incident Management Nederland has today published a detailed users' guide for the new Bergerview. This guide shows the possibilities offered by the new Bergerview, and how the system is operated. Further information is available to all interested parties who register with Stichting ISM by telephone or by e-mail, before 9 May. They will then be invited to attend a detailed demonstration. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and practise with the new application.
