Stichting Incident Management Nederland maintains recognition of existing recovery training programmes
Tuesday 27 March 2012
Stichting Incident Management Nederland has decided to maintain its approval of the existing four recovery training programmes. The programmes in question for light vehicle recovery are provided by Van Amerongen Berging (formerly Logicx), Opcedo, Stichting Mobiliteit Opleidingen ("STIMO") and SOMA Bedrijfsopleidingen.
Over the past few months, Stichting Incident Management Nederland has carried out audits at each of these four training institutions. During these audits, Stichting Incident Management Nederland obtained information about the layout and organisation of the courses. The course material used and the examination methods were also considered. At each of the training programmes, Stichting Incident Management Nederland attended an examination day. All training institutions cooperated fully in the audit process. The results revealed that the four study programmes still comply with the criteria formulated in 2006 by Stichting Incident Management Nederland. Against this background, recognition of all four training programmes in question by IMN was duly maintained.
